Toyeeb Atanda helps the chapter practice GRC engineering.
Beyond the resume
From the forest to the control.
Toyeeb is a GRC engineer and auditor. He started as a forestry professional, with a bachelor's in forestry and a master's in environmental science, work that only holds if you can read a system in the field, work to a prescription written by someone who isn't standing there, and leave a record someone else can trust later. That is still the job. The terrain changed; the discipline did not.
Today he builds compliance automation across AWS, Azure, and GCP and works on AI governance. He has spent time on both sides of assurance: building the control, then sitting in the auditor's chair to ask whether the proof holds.
He brings that practice to GRC Engineering Club Augusta as Chapter Vice President alongside Founding President Danielle Koppel: turning talks into labs, policy into checks, and audit questions into evidence members can reuse.
